We adore the fun twist she puts on timeless pieces -- always looking so fresh. Thank you Mary Glenn for sharing some of your style tips with us -- and your favorite spots in Birmingham!

Tell us about your latest work and what’s inspiring your most projects?

I’ve been so busy working with clients to get wardrobes ready for the fall/winter seasons and prepping for holiday events. It has been so exciting to help my clients get ready for the holiday season!

What does ‘success’ mean to you? How do you define it?

Success for me is when I get feedback from one of my clients telling me that the work we did together has made their life easier and more enjoyable because they feel confident and less stressed dressing themselves. I am fueled by my clients so when they are happy and satisfied, that’s success for me!

What’s your favorite part about your job/business?

Hands down, working with the best clients! I have met so many amazing women since starting my business and I love hearing everyone's story and have even made a few new friends!

What’s your no-fail go-to when you need to get out of a creative rut?

Reading the trend stories on vogue.com always gets me out of a creative rut. I love seeing how everyone is interpreting different trends and styling pieces in different ways. I always end up so inspired!

Let’s talk fashunnn. What do you love to buy? Do you have a uniform? Where do you splurge vs. save?

This is a hard one! I love to buy and splurge on timeless pieces that will be in my closet forever. I have taught myself to not feel guilty about buying something I know will be worn and loved for years to come! For my uniform, I’m a big believer in building capsule closets each season where the pieces can be reworked for different looks - I post my capsule closets on Instagram each season for inspo! I think it’s always fun to watch the trends and if there is one I love, I always buy a piece or two to style!

It’s a beautiful Saturday in your city and your friend is visiting from out of town. Where do you take her? Favorite local spots or hidden gems.

Birmingham is booming and I have loved living here as an adult! I grew up here but so much has changed so it feels like a new city! Some of my favorite spots to shop in the villages are Tulipano, Elle, M. Lavender, Etc. (best spot for jewelry or Golden Goose). After shopping, we would polish off the day with a late lunch at Bottega!

Your next/dream travel destination. Location + hotel + activity.

My husband and I were planning to go somewhere tropical before COVID hit so I am hoping we get to go somewhere warm this winter. The beach is my favorite spot to be so I’m always happy in the sand!
