3 Looks 3 Ways: Sally Simms
Sally Simms – owner of Charleston antique store Super Saturday – shows us how she styles her HART pieces in three different ways.

Jewels: Carpe Diem Charm sliding on the 18” Mini Belcher Chain, Silver Fish sliding on the 15" Dainty Chain, and 6.5" Bezel Tennis Bracelet.
HART: What do your charms mean to you?
Sally: I got my first, the Janus charm, in the month between finishing one job and starting a big new gig. I'm a change-loving person, but I was feeling particularly expansive during that shift.
The Fish—for some reason that one feels lucky.
And the Carpe Diem—the newest—I'm in the middle of a carpe diem move right now, expanding my store. Good time for a new talisman.

Jewels: Dune Necklace Cord with Baroque Pearl and Carpe Diem Charm, Janus with Moon Phases Charm sliding on the 15" Dainty Chain, and 6.5" Bezel Tennis Bracelet.
HART: What Lights You Up?
Sally: People. My life force is socially derived. If you see me at the store, know that I am ready to chit-chat. I can't wait.

Jewels: Dune Necklace Cord (double wrapped) with Baroque Pearl, Carpe Diem Charm sliding on the 18” Mini Belcher Chain, and 6.5" Bezel Tennis Bracelet.
HART: When you invite people over to dinner for a party, what are you serving them and what’s the playlist?
Sally: When I host, which I love to do, I want people to feel at home, but then feel a little doted on too. My husband cooks and I don’t, so if it’s dinner, it’s often Italian comfort food he loves, like ribollita, but if he’s not around, I only do snacks.
Basic snacks are fine as long as you way overdo the presentation (e.g. Lays chips in a giant silver punch bowl is my staple move). Uncool, non-pop music makes people smile and they don’t have to focus on it—I play Jimmy Buffet in the wrong context pretty often and it always wins over early dissenters. Pure Moods from 1994? People are relaxed and having fun if that is on.
