Sonny Sisan is equal parts florist, ceramist, and designer. Walking into his studio transports you into a creative portal of whimsical objects, floral drapings, and disco ball reflections shimmering on the walls. HART: What do your HART charms mean to you?
Sonny: I am big on the moon in general, so the Crescent Moon Charm resonates with me. My friends and I have a ritual where we go watch the full moon on Sullivan's Island with a bottle of wine, and talk about what we want to close out that month, so it's a nice time for reflection.
The Virgo Zodiac Charm, because I'm a Virgo and September is my favorite month, but also because oddly enough almost over half of my friends are Virgos!

HART: With the holidays coming up, do you have any tips or tricks for someone decorating their home with florals for the holidays?
Sonny: One of my favorite things to do is foraging. If you want something dramatic, it might seem abnormal to take some shears and go cut some branches, but bringing nature inside is such an easy way to do something unique with an effortless feel.
I'll tie a burgundy silk ribbon around my foraged branches and drape it down. Add some candles, and it will make a significant difference.
