P.S. I Hart This: Muscle Tanks

I think the muscle tank doesn't get enough love. This relaxed piece is a staple in my summer wardrobe.... especially once my arms get a little bit of a tan.

The keys to a flattering muscle tank are a high neck neckline, wide-cut shoulders and 100% good quality cotton. The tee looks great tucked into some denim cut-offs with a chunky leather belt and gladiator sandals. Taking inspiration from Sea of Shoes circa 2015.

Or, paired with some of my favorite cotton pants by Nili Lotan (the chic designer is featured below) and some trusty Golden Goose. 

Perhaps the biggest reason why I love a muscle tank is that it's an excellent backdrop for my charm necklaces. The feminine, gold necklaces juxtapose nicely against a more masculine top. 

When investing in yours, stick with neutral colors -- white, black or gray. I like these white ones by Madewell (on sale) as well as this Veronica Breard one (also on sale!).

This black one by Agolde (below) is pretty perfect with the wide trim.
