P.S. I HART THIS: DENIM MINI
Raise your hand if you're a blue jean addict. Yep, me too. In the summer, I live in my denim cut-off shorts. But now that I'm a mom, I feel the urge to upgrade my ripped short-shorts for something more... what's the word... ladylike and feminine. And that's where I'm reminded of my love for a denim mini.
The dark denim mini is a classic. Tuck in a tee, a thin sweater or a feminine blouse. You can't go wrong. But there is one thing I don't like about this wardrobe staple... I can't ride my bike in it!

Keep it French and invest in this dark wash mini by A.P.C. Style it like Jeanne Damas above or this anonymous Parisienne below. I especially love the denim mini with a thin navy blue sweater and ballet flats (these neon pink ones are so fun!).

I also like the look of distressed, lighter-wash denim minis. This distressed one by Gap ($54) and this Everlane one (below) are great affordable options.

Style it with an oversized striped button-down and western belt for a lovely Americana look.
