CHARLESTON CITY GUIDE: The Best Place for a V-Day Treat
Hi! Hart's intern here, Christina.
With everyones most lusted after/hated holiday waiting for us around the corner it's time to figure out those long awaited/long dreaded Valentine's Day plans.
Whether you're planning to spend it with your man, your lady, your lover, or your cat, Valentine's Day is about more than red lingerie, candy hearts, and fancy dinner dates (although, come on, we love any excuse to indulge in all the frivolous thrills of the holiday of Love). AND, it's about way more than feeling lonely, even if your cat bails on you for a date with that cat-nip-filled fish toy you got her.
Valentine's Day is an opportunity to unapologetically celebrate love in all its forms -- one of the most important ones being self love! And the love of good food, of course.
On the 14th of February I dare you to treat yourself, your man, your lady, your lover, and maybe even your cat to some goodies at one of my favorite places on Hart's Charleston City Guide: The Harbinger Cafe.
Head over in the morning for the Early Bird Granola Bowl and Turmeric Chai Tea Latte.
Already have breakfast plans? Stop by for lunch and grab an assortment of salads with a side of allllll the cookies.
More of a happy hour gal? Hit Harbinger up from 3-5pm for bubbly to soothe the butterflies in your tummy before your big date.
Whenever you go and whatever you get, don't forget to enjoy the sweet surroundings of one of my favorite cafes in the Holy City.
Happy Valentine's Day babes! Remember -- self love, good food, and cats are sometimes the best romances one can ask for.
